Overview
SwimConvert is a static website with two calculators: a swim time converter and a swim pace calculator. This policy explains what data the site handles, what it does not handle, and the choices you have. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, there are no user accounts, and the times you type never leave your device.
Information we do not collect
SwimConvert does not require registration and does not ask for personal information. The calculators perform all arithmetic locally in your browser, so swim times, goal times and distances you enter are not transmitted to us, not stored on a server, and not shared with anyone. We do not operate a database of user activity, and we do not sell or rent any data.
Server logs
Like almost every website, SwimConvert is served through a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs for security and reliability. These logs can include your IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps. They are used to operate and protect the site, are retained by the hosting provider under its own retention policy, and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and advertising
SwimConvert itself does not set cookies and does not require a cookie banner. The site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to SwimConvert and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Blocking cookies in your browser will not affect how the calculators work.

Analytics
SwimConvert does not run first-party analytics scripts and does not build profiles of individual visitors. If privacy-respecting, aggregate-level analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is measured.
Children’s privacy
The site is intended for a general audience, including age-group swimmers and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the calculators run locally in the browser, no swim data from minors is collected by us.
Changes to this policy
If the way SwimConvert handles data changes — for example, if advertising or analytics is introduced — this page will be updated and the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be visible here before they take effect.
